On Sunday we attended the regular Chilworth Manor Wedding Show. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand for a chat. The attendance was steady which was great because we had ample opportunity to talk to everyone who passed by. Thank you to all the couples who booked with us on the day. All our bookings were for weddings in 2011 and they all sound fantastic so it's great to have you all onboard...
Next show at Chilworth will be later in the year joined by the Solent Hotel in Whitely and also Botley Park Hotel. Our exhibitions page will be updated soon.

On Saturday we attended the wedding of Beth & Peter who married at St John's in Locksheath and then held their wedding reception at The Solent Hotel in Whitely.
While most of the south was watching the football derby match on TV a wedding ceremony was in full swing. The groom arrived in fantastic time who looked very calm and collected and certainly ready for action. Alastair, the best man, appeared to have everything under control. Two supporting Ushers were also in a buoyant mood!
After some casual shots around the church we then awaited the arrival of the bride. Due to church rules it was unfortunate that we could not take any snaps of the actual ceremony. It really was a personal occasion and perhaps some ambient moments could of provided the scene setter images we strive to achieve. We did manage to get a few shots during the hymns.
It was a really really cold day. We decided to take formal photography at the church and take advantage of guests waiting inside what looked like a community room.
En route to The Solent Hotel we stopped at Titchfield Abbey for a few photographs. It was so cold we only managed a few photographs as poor old Beth was frozen. At arrival to The Solent Hotel we gave Beth and Peter some time to get warm and then moved on to their portraits. They were both brilliant to work with and hope to show you some pictures soon.

Welcome to the new website of 'all occasions' photography. We thought that it was unfair that brides get the chance of having a makeover so we thought we would have one ourselves and this is the result.
To celebrate the launch of our new site we have a fantastic offer! The next 5 couples who book an album with us will automatically qualify for one of our amazing DVD slideshow's worth £130.00. UPDATE 25/02: You will now need to be quick because we only have 1 remaining to give away!!!
We wanted to keep up the user friendliness of our old website but wanted to freshen up the pages while introducing a few new features. We love our interactive photo walls on our gallery page. Why not check them out!
As like our old site we still want to offer the same great detail about our products. Unlike other websites we also felt it was still important to display our prices. It's still our great pricing model without the anything hidden!Just a side note. If you have subscribed to our RSS feed from our old website please do update your subscription by clicking on the RSS icon to the right of the blog list.
Can I also add that our previous blog went back many many years and it was felt unnecessary to include all of the old listings into our new blog. We have added a few important posts in from last year but generally we are starting a fresh.
Hope you like the new site... Stay tuned!

On Saturday 23rd of January we were on hand to photograph the wedding of Kerry and Craig who married at the Holy Trinity Church in Fareham and then held their wedding reception at the ever popular Chilworth Manor.
The build up to the ceremony was very relaxed. Craig and his best man enjoyed some photography time outside of the church. The bridemaids followed with Kerry shortly after. Everything was running perfectly to time. A relaxed wedding ceremony was followed by a stunning lyrical performance by a family member of the bridal party.
Chilworth Manor was the next port of call who have recently had a refit within the lobby area. It does look very nice now with plenty of room for guests to mingle and soak up the wedding atmosphere. It does strike me that, if required, we now have plenty of room to put up our studio lighting to conduct our formal group photography. In the past we had to move furniture around.
After some short time outside with the cars we were ready to move on to perform Kerry and Craig's portrait photography. They were fantastic to work with. Kerry was brave with the weather as it was on the cold side but she done brilliantly. We also popped into the bridal suite and finished off with some lovely photographs near the window.
A superb day with plenty of variety in the photography. Here are just a couple...

Our last wedding of 2009 was in the perfect company of Gemma & Adam who married at St Colman's Church which is situated in Cosham, Portsmouth. Their wedding reception was then held at the wonderful New Place in Wickham.
The weather was perfect for photography although a little cold but we don't expect much else this time of the year. The day started with photography at the Church with the semi-nervous Groom together with Gavin and Daniel who were the best men. Supporting the guys were 4 ushers.
Gemma arrived very much spot on the ceremony time of 13:30. We have never photographed a wedding at St Colman's Church. The ambient festive feeling was certainly felt throughout the ceremony. The conditions in the church were somewhat challenging because of the lack of available light and of course external light cannot be used during the ceremony.
As soon as the ceremony was over we left the church for the formal group photographs just outside the main entrance.
We arrived at New Place in very good time. This allowed Gemma & Adam to meet and greet their wedding guests. After 10 - 15 minutes we progressed with their portrait photography outside and around the grounds. Credit certainly goes to Gemma for braving the cold biting wind. She was amazing and it just goes to show how important the photographs are to her to withstand such conditions. Adam done well in his attempts in fending off the wind.

Our fantastic new application allows our customers to review larger versions of their photographs which helps make precise decisions during their picture rating process.
Picture Rating is process which our customers go through which provides the feedback we need to build a bespoke storybook wedding album.
Our Photo Gallery application also allows our customers to picture rate directly inside making it even easier to complete this process.

"There are no words to describe how perfectly our wedding day unfolded. The professionalism and creative artistry of Steven and Karen was just the icing on the cake. As visitors from Canada, it was very important to us to capture our special day accurately so that we could bring it back home with us to share with family and friends. Their patience and persistence were appreciated as light rain threatened to cut the photo shoot short, but by the end of the day the typically unpredictable English weather was on our side after all and the photos were amazing.
We have had nothing but outstanding comments and feedback from those both from England and from Canada who have viewed our photos. We would absolutely recommend All Occasions Photography to capture memorable and everlasting moments.
Thank you both very much for helping to make our day the unforgettable fairytale wedding we hoped for. "

Today Jenna & Daniel married at Beaulieu Abbey Church and then held their wedding reception at the Beaulieu Hotel. The weather was good for us today with nice sunny spells but as many photographers will appreciate this does have it's challenges...
The church service was lovely. It was a little restricted as we could only take our photography from behind but we did manage to vary our angles to provide a mixture of shots during the ceremony.
After the service we opted to take the group photography at the church and we comfortably found a nice backdrop to take advantage of.
We used a location to the right of the church to take a few portrait pictures(see below). A nice stone wall with a closed door provided the ideal setting. Once we left the church we stopped off at the nearby river to take a series of portrait photographs. A nice location with some traditional style photography suited this location.
The final destination was Jenna and Daniel's wedding reception. Within short walking distance we entered a little wooded area across the road to complete our photography. A lovely day with a mixture of traditional and some contemporary photographs. Enjoy your honeymoon guys!!!

Krystin and Matthew's wedding photographs are extremely important to them. This is why they invested a significant amount of time on their wedding day to obtain the variety that these two locations can provide.
Mottisfont Abbey is one amazing location. It has to be right up there with the very best Hampshire wedding locations without doubt. We lost count on the number of beautiful spots available to us.
During our time at Mottisfont we did have to dodge showers but during the outside ceremony these managed to keep away. Horses were the added princess touch as Krystin and the bridesmaids arrived in style to the red carpet leading down the ceremony marquee.
After the ceremony we started the group shot's, however, the heavens opened for a short time so we came back slightly later to conclude these photographs.
The portrait locations are just too numerous to list. From tree isle walks to rivers to bridges... Wow!
If Mottisfont Abbey was not enough we then arrived at Chilworth Manor for further photography fun. It certainly was a memory card challenge with the volume of photographs taken almost exceeding our quota. I have never seen Karen get so carried away before and take so many.
