  • Feedback from Krystin & Matthew

"There are no words to describe how perfectly our wedding day unfolded. The professionalism and creative artistry of Steven and Karen was just the icing on the cake. As visitors from Canada, it was very important to us to capture our special day accurately so that we could bring it back home with us to share with family and friends. Their patience and persistence were appreciated as light rain threatened to cut the photo shoot short, but by the end of the day the typically unpredictable English weather was on our side after all and the photos were amazing.

We have had nothing but outstanding comments and feedback from those both from England and from Canada who have viewed our photos. We would absolutely recommend All Occasions Photography to capture memorable and everlasting moments.

Thank you both very much for helping to make our day the unforgettable fairytale wedding we hoped for. "

  • The Wedding of Jenna & Daniel

Today Jenna & Daniel married at Beaulieu Abbey Church and then held their wedding reception at the Beaulieu Hotel. The weather was good for us today with nice sunny spells but as many photographers will appreciate this does have it's challenges...

The church service was lovely. It was a little restricted as we could only take our photography from behind but we did manage to vary our angles to provide a mixture of shots during the ceremony.

After the service we opted to take the group photography at the church and we comfortably found a nice backdrop to take advantage of.

We used a location to the right of the church to take a few portrait pictures(see below). A nice stone wall with a closed door provided the ideal setting. Once we left the church we stopped off at the nearby river to take a series of portrait photographs. A nice location with some traditional style photography suited this location.

The final destination was Jenna and Daniel's wedding reception. Within short walking distance we entered a little wooded area across the road to complete our photography. A lovely day with a mixture of traditional and some contemporary photographs. Enjoy your honeymoon guys!!!

  • The Wedding of Krystin & Matthew

Krystin and Matthew's wedding photographs are extremely important to them. This is why they invested a significant amount of time on their wedding day to obtain the variety that these two locations can provide.

Mottisfont Abbey is one amazing location. It has to be right up there with the very best Hampshire wedding locations without doubt. We lost count on the number of beautiful spots available to us.

During our time at Mottisfont we did have to dodge showers but during the outside ceremony these managed to keep away. Horses were the added princess touch as Krystin and the bridesmaids arrived in style to the red carpet leading down the ceremony marquee.

After the ceremony we started the group shot's, however, the heavens opened for a short time so we came back slightly later to conclude these photographs.

The portrait locations are just too numerous to list. From tree isle walks to rivers to bridges... Wow!

If Mottisfont Abbey was not enough we then arrived at Chilworth Manor for further photography fun. It certainly was a memory card challenge with the volume of photographs taken almost exceeding our quota. I have never seen Karen get so carried away before and take so many.

  • The Wedding of Kirsty & Carl

We had bagpipes and horses for which was a fantastic start to a relaxed wedding day. Our only real challenge today was the actual ceremony lighting conditions because when we say dark it was seriously dark at the front of the church. I think even if the sun did shine during the service then it would not have made a huge difference. Fortunately our kitbag contains lenses that perform amazing things in such low light conditions.

Our time at the church after the ceremony was quite limited due to a second wedding taking place so we carried out a small number of formal group photographs before the short journey to Southampton University.

Southampton University contains lovely gardens for portrait photography as long as you dodge the square buildings which rise above the foliage. Simple streams and bridges contain a fantastic backdrop for our style of photography. Kirsty and Carl were the perfect wedding day couple and once they return from Mexico their wedding pictures will be available for family and friends to view.

  • The Wedding of Charmian & Stuart

Charmian & Stuart married at the lovely Carey's Manor deep in the heart of The New Forest on the 25th July 2009. A very relaxed day with plenty of strong sunshine provided the ideal setting.

  • The Wedding of Anna & Neil

We are playing somewhat catchup on our blog post's of late so we quickly wanted to tell you about the wedding we photographed on the 24th of July.

Anna & Neil married at Otterbourne Church and then held their wedding reception at The Potters Heron nr Romsey.

  • The Wedding of Lara & Tim

Lara & Tim married at Norton Park on Saturday and we really did feel relaxed in the hands of a couple who enjoyed every minute of their wedding photography. Should Lara & Tim feel relaxed in the hands of us??? I'm sure they did...

Lara & Tim made the right decision to set the time for their ceremony for 12:00pm. It certainly was an excellent decision because the rain arrived in anger just as we left.

The photography conditions were perfect. Lovely available light without harsh sunshine resulted in some really beautiful wedding photography.

  • The Wedding of Lisa & Gareth

Lisa & Gareth win first prize at being the best couple to work with on a rainy wedding day. They were fantastic and braved the elements but did not let it spoil there amazing day.

The ceremony was held at St Edwards church in Netley and then a few family groups were taken at Netley Abbey Ruins. Once these were completed we spent further time with Lisa & Gareth at the ruins for their portraits.
