The Wedding of Jennifer & Stephen
Today we photographed the wedding of Jennifer and Stephen who married at Chilworth Manor. Stephen had 2 ushers with Mark, his brother, who also had a second role as his Best Man. Jennifer had four friends who made lovely bridemaids.
Our first priority when we arrived was to grab the groom, ushers and his best man for some photo opportunity at the front of the building. 10 minutes was all that was needed until we then focused our attention on the lovely bride.
The bridal preparations room was crowded but we managed to capture some candid moments together with some lovely photo's of the bride looking out of the window. From this point onwards our day seriously gets started!!!
All in all a wonderful day and some preview photo's will be available in due course.

The Wedding of Lisa & Grant
One of the best weather day's this year was perfect for Lisa and Grant who married at The Botleigh Grange in Hedge End on Friday. With the sun beating down on us as the bride arrived the cool air conditioned Hampshire Suite was very welcome.
Once the service had concluded we swiftly moved into portrait mode and used the lovely grounds of the Botleigh Grange to full advantage. The great thing about this wedding location is the brilliant variety of locations to take photography. You have lakes, tree tunnels, walls and open space to choose from. Infact we opted to use all of them.... Great!

The Wedding of Rebecca & Tim
Rebecca and Tim married at Kings Community Church yesterday on a beautiful summers day. Kings Community Church is a popular modern day building with plenty of room to hold large numbers of wedding guests. Rebecca and Tim took advantage of this and packed in a good number of wedding guests.
Outside the church is a superb location for small group photographs with a colourful location for the bridal portraits.

Hampshire Your Wedding September/October 2008
 As mentioned previously in our blog 'all occasions' are honored to have Kyrie and Sean's wedding from June 2008 appear in the upcoming edition of Hampshire Your Wedding magazine. Not only is Kyrie and Sean's wedding featured in the magazine but also this stunning picture of Kyrie appears on the magazine's front cover.
The magazine appears in all good newsagents from August 22nd 2008 and this edition runs for two months.

Press Cutting
On Tuesday this article appeared in the Portsmouth Evening News. It was part of a feature called Life Style which features real weddings. Katherine and David married in May in Portsmouth Cathedral and then held the wedding reception at the Alverbank Hotel in Stokes Bay.

The Wedding of Kerrie & Lee
|
With well over 150 guests’s it certainly was our largest group to photograph of late and it was a glorious Saturday weather-wise to do it on. Kerrie & Lee married at the Beaulieu Road Hotel and we had tears which was really lovely to see as the bride approached the nervous on looking groom.
The portrait photography was conducted across the road in a mini woodland area with plenty of trees. The group photography was hampered by BBQ smoke which littered the area originally setup for groups so we had to move to an alternative location which did not prove to cause us any problems.

Hampshire Your Wedding Magazine: Cover + Feature

 It's hitting the shelves of all good retailers such as Tesco and WH Smith on August 22nd 2008. The glossy Hampshire Your Wedding Magazine for September/October will feature not only a striking cover image but also a real weddings feature with many more lovely photographs of a wedding photographed in June 2008 by us. It's the most popular issue of the calendar year so we are honoured to be featured.

Trash the Dress! (Well kind of)

When do us photographers ever get chance to put the camera down. Well not too often because if you enjoy your work so much then you want to keep clicking the shutter. On Sunday we left behind the pressure of wedding day photography to do something a little calmer. We took one model, a series of dresses and added a mix of water by magic we captured hundreds of images!
We have loads more to show which we will do in due course using a slideshow but for now here are just a few we picked out!

On this day we photographed the wedding of Gail & Graeme who married at Chilworth Manor. The weather was overcast for most of the day with only a sniff of rain during the group shots. This only delayed us for only about 5 minutes. Our itinerary was certainly tight with Chilworth Manor having a further wedding during the afternoon so we did not want to loose too much time.
Gail & Graeme can only be described as a couple who are certainly not partial to a few giggles which generated plenty of smiles during the service. This was great for us because it allowed us to capture some great facial expressions.
